What is the Job Description?
- Make sure SAP is accurate and updated on a regular basis to produce the required needs.
- Work together with Accounts Payable, Planning, Quality Control, and Warehousing to make sure that purchases meet company requirements.
- Create and maintain a procurement study that covers price patterns, future strategy, and purchasing activity for essential items.
- Oversee the yearly standard cost procedure and give financial information for budgetary purposes.
- Create and put into effect procedures that support ethical, effective, and professional purchasing processes.
- Develop a rapport with suppliers and plan price and service discussions.
- In SAP, create buy orders and delivery schedules to assist with production.
- Find and create sources of raw materials as soon as possible.
- Take the lead in cutting costs and document your savings.
