Twelve Pakistani students will be eligible to receive scholarships from the prestigious Oxford University, according to the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP).
This announcement came shortly after Pakistan celebrated its 78th Independence Day, and the selected students will begin their studies this fall.
The Oxford Pakistani Partnership (OPP) is said to be the "first initiative of its kind" with the goal of increasing the number of Pakistani and British-Pakistani students enrolled at Oxford University.
Pakistani academics and Oxford alumni established the program to address the university's lack of Pakistani students and provide opportunities for those who might otherwise be unable to afford higher education.
In a web-based entertainment post on X, the OPP communicated pride in inviting another partner of 12 extraordinary researchers. One of the most prestigious institutions in the world is committed to expanding access and supporting Pakistan-related activities through this init
iative.
