The majority of voters in the United States believe that the country is plagued by corruption, despite the fact that their perceptions of those threats vary widely depending on partisan leanings.

After four years of unmatched challenges, Americans' faith in the nearly 250-year-old system of government is eroding: a violent riot with the intention of overturning the presidential election in 2020; Donald Trump's criminal conviction; as well as his persistent assertion that the democratic system is rigged.

Voters are dissatisfied with American politics and a government that they believe has failed to serve them at the most fundamental level as a result of these events as well as persistent inflation, culture wars that cause division and geopolitical crises. Because of these dissatisfactions, 58% of voters are of the opinion that the political and financial systems of the country require significant modifications or a complete overhaul.
