The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, Arole Olodumare Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, has dedicated the independence day to victims of ritual murders.
In his statement, Oba Akabi, rejoices with all Nigerians and specially sympathizes with the victims and families of ritual murders. Barring that the rampancy of ritual killings is worrisome.
He declared that Nigerians are not yet independent, until citizens are free from the poverty of mind involving killing of innocent souls for rituals, he said.
The blood in the land is hunting and hurting. The government is making efforts but the blood suckers are frustrating it.
The government has to liberate the land by enacting a law that will checkmate ritual Killings. Until the needful is done, I can't proudly say we are independent, he concluded.
