supreme leader suggests that the Israeli Prime Minister should be executed
Iran's supreme commander has called for Benjamin Netanyahu's execution following the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister.
On Monday, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that "an arrest warrant for Netanyahu is not enough - he should be sentenced to execution" for alleged war crimes.
Addressing a gathering of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps generals and Basij paramilitary forces in Tehran, he stated, "This is a war crime; the enemy has not secured victory in Gaza or Lebanon.
Bombing civilian homes in Gaza and Lebanon does not constitute a triumph. The crowd chanted "Death to America," "Death to Israel," and "Death to England." Khamenei stated.
