In the wake of the general elections, President-elect Donald Trump asked his followers to give to Democrats in order to help them get through the "financial strain."
Trump said on social media that he was shocked that the Democrats didn't have a lot of money left over.
"I am shocked that the Democrats, who raised a record amount of money and fought a fierce and heroic battle in the 2020 presidential election, didn't have a lot of money left over. Vendors and others are now squeezing them," he said.
Trump urged, "I would strongly recommend that we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do whatever we can to help them during this difficult period." Since "Earned Media" was our campaign's greatest asset and it doesn't cost much, we have a lot of money left over. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
